Hacking I dunno, this could also be a mix of hacked objects, which are all kinda iffy to start with, acting together to totally crap can your game. So here's a checklist of things to do: Are you using the No-CD crack? If so, stop. Are you using more then 1 hacked object? You know, objects that have functionality beyond intended? If you don't know wth I am jabbering about it's probably no. If yes, make backups of the objects. Remove one, try and run Sims 2 and go into build mode. If it still doesn't work, reestore that objects and repeat with another. You may find the culprit this way. If this doesnt find the culprit then remove ALL hacked objects and see if this solves the problem. If it doesn't work then quit lying and just admit you're using the N0-CD crack. There ya go.
hello again guys this is sereus prob I mean its is all 4 CD's from one store,in that four CD's is hacked because when i installed it dont want CD ,i started exe.So can someone tell the Sims 2 normal exe (not hacked or bad)iwanna that u send me Fresh exe,iwanted sims just for building and i disapointed when i tryed.... o plz help me once more,getting fresh Sims2.exe ok?

The previous answers you have been given are clear enough and it is not possible for us to guess what your problem is from the jumbled 'new' information that you think you have given in the previous post. If you genuinely want help, then please take the time to compose your message properly ... try reading it out aloud to someone else and see if they can understand what you are asking. Better still get someone else to read your message and see if they understand it. Questions you need to answer. Have you purchased (from a lawful seller) The Sims 2 for PC on 4 CD's? Or is the game on DVD? If the game is on DVD do you actually have a DVD drive? Have you downloaded anything for the game from the internet? If so what did you download? (Tell us the names of the files you have downloaded!) Are you using a no CD crack or a utility such as a "Virtual CD Drive"? How are you trying to start the game? (And do you start the game with game disc -- CD #1 or the DVD -- in the drive?) By means of the Start >> All Programs >> EA Games >> The Sims 2 >>? By means of a shortcut on the Start Menu? By means of a desktop icon (shortcut)? By double-clicking C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSBin\Sims2.exe in Windows Explorer (My Computer)? Finally can you play the game in other ways? (for example can you create new sims and move them into empty houses and send them to work, buy stuff etc.?) If you really have a problem then we are really willing to help you. At the moment you are just being confusing and you are, therefore, only wasting your own time.
Hmmm. iwanna that u send me Fresh exe Ok, that's a no. No one here will send you the SIms 2 .exe. Nor can we point you toward people that will. Sorry, no can do.
I think I understand what he's asking. The bottom line is you have a hacked Sims2.exe that enables you to play the game without the CD. But if someone gives you the original or "fresh" Sims2.exe, you're going to need an actual store bought copy of the game disc. To me it seems that you purchased a pirated version of the game from somewhere (possibly without knowing it was pirated, because they can make them look pretty close to the original these days...), and it came with the NO-CD Sims2.exe already on the disc. So, here is your solution: If you want build mode to work, go to a legitimate and trusted game dealer, and buy a legitimate copy of the game and install it over the version that's currently on your computer. And presto, you will have build mode.
Well that makes sense, Toasty. Let us hope that arcis comes back to us with more info. I suppose the killer question is: did he get a manual and a keboard shortcut card with the discs? I somehow doubt that a pirated copy would have those and even if they did the paper would 'feel' wrong. I wonder where it was bought? ebay? Flea market? If it was ebay he may have some redress. Mostly though fraud such as this goes undetected and the buyer is as culpable as the seller. If you see an offer that seems too good to be true ... then it is almost certainly a duff deal. In other words if it is cheaper than in Walmart it must be bent.
There was a recent article somewhere saying "cheaper isn't better"...something about just because its necessarily cheap doesn't mean it will last...
