Help Please!!! Ok,I need someone's help asap.When I uninstalled and then reinstalled my sims 2 when the opening screen come on there where no preset neighborhoods.Can someone please help me fix this problem.
well i have 3 suggestions and they don't nessisarily have to come in this order: 1. Uninstall/reinstall - don't forget to reboot after uninstall 2. get the patch - http://thesims2.ea.com/updates 3. get new CD's - return them to wal-mart or where-ever tell them they are defective and buy a new set. Go to your My Docs, EA Games, The Sims 2, Neighborhoods. There should be N001, N002, N003. These are the default maxis neighborhoods. If the folders are there delete them, unless you have sims that you want to keep, if that's the case move the folder to the desktop or such. When you load the game the neighborhoods should be reinstalled automatically by the game. You may notice a longer load time while this is done.
