Help plzzz hello, i have been trying to marrying one of my character to another girl, but when i press 'propose' then 'marriage'. A screen pops up and asks me who would like to move in with the girl and i choose no one besides the girl. After i clicked ok, a message box pops up in the top right hand coner and says 'a house cannot have more than 8 people' (or something similar) and i was wondering is there some cheats to make more than 8 people live under one house??? thanks
The sims are living in the same house, right? And the game is asking for them to move in? Hmm, sounds like a glitch. You should try downloading a patch from EAs site: www.thesims2.ea.com/update/ If that doesn't work then it could be a bugged lot. Try moving the sims to another lot in that case.
Also if the one to move in is pregnant then the unborn are taken into account when computing overcrowding ... this is one cheat-free and hack-free way to detect if a sim is expecting twins. A sim expecting twins counts as 3 sims and so cannot be added to a household of 6 or more sims. A sim expecting a single child can be moved into a household of 6 or less sims.
