What do you mean by "you can't download the thing because you don't know where to"? What thing? You have to be more specific if you want people to help you. You can delete most custom content in game. To delete hacks or mods like Numenor's CEP, you'll have to go into your downloads folder (found in C:/The Sims 2/Downloads) and delete the files from there. To be able to do both of these things you won't need any "thing". Of course this is what you do on a PC, but I should think that it's the same if you have a Mac.
