you must buy an agp video card, either radeon or geforce, but you did'nt specify the model of your motherboard, and i think you have the board that have an built-in graphics adapter, you could also buy more RAM to achieve smoothness in gameplay, but the video card is the first priority, so can you kindly specify your motherboard so we can help you more :knockedout:
yup. you do have the motherboard with integrated graphics, i just check it out, but still i have no idea if your board has an AGP slot for the video card, and for your memory you can buy PC-133 RAM, they're actually cheap, but if you have the money you can go to system overhaul upgrade, either cutom-made it or buy manufactured pc, alienware pc's got my vote if your not planning to buy a new pc
The minimum recommended RAM for TS2 is 256mb. Part of yours is being consumed by the graphics card having shared memory (which any below 128mb do.) Also, you have an unsupported card. Although getting a new video card is a must for you, people have found that getting more RAM really helps with speed issues. But you'll need to get a faster graphics card. If you have an AGP slot, I would recommend getting a Radeon 9600 (or better) or Geforce 5600 (or better.) But if you only have PCI slots, then getting a PCI FX5200 or a PCI Radeon 9200 is your best bet. To figure out of you have an AGP slot or only PCI slots, you can check with your manufacturer or check it out yourself. Here's a tutorial on how to do it: http://www.crucial.com/kb/answer.asp?qid=3994 Saving up for the better things since you still can play is probably a good idea. The Sapphire Radeon 9600 is a good buy at places like Newegg.com, for example. (Often less than $100 which is more value for your money than many other cards.)
