here's the crunch... first of all... i am THE most obbsessed sims2 fan EVER in this Galaxy. i lost interest in the sims1 last year somewhere around octoberish. I now have seen the sims2 in all its glory and i must have a game with great graphics simulation type to help me and keep me amused until Ts2 is released, i tryed bustin' out now its boring, i brought a gamecube JUST for the bustin out game and its unworthy of clenching my addiction so,the next best graphical simulation game i have seen that caught my eye was the game singles to some people singles is a cheap rip off of the sims, the sims2, etc. but to me its very different, its more indepth and complicated than the sims, but the graphics are amazing, i figure this game singles will keep me occupied until the sims2 is released, even if your against the game, have you tryed it? have a go i will when it comes out. if it does turn out to be crap, ill take it back and say it wouldnt work with my computer anyone got any other ideas for similiar games that have worthy graphics to keep me amused? ________________________________ I hope im helping with the addiction!!! ~ShY_LaDeH~
I've been playing Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon Wonderful Life, and various Final Fantasy games to keep me busy till Sims 2 comes out. I never heard of Singles, I'd like to learn more about it if it's at all like the sims.
yes well try going to a search like Google and typr in the words... Singles: flirt up your life screenshots or singles official website just take a look, great graphics... i myself havent played the game yet because its not out in australia, but when it does come out i will be buying it...
I found the official site, looks interesting. I see a lot of details with the settings and I like that, but I figure it's not geared towards being as custumizable as the Sims games. I might think about playing it to tide me over till Sims 2 gets here!

I checked out the game as well I think I like the game too. But I've been hooked up on the sims.I still play the sims 1 because I like to build houses but the singles game look very tempting!

Singles had a bad review in PC Gamer Sept. issue, 60% out of 100. They said that it had no depth and that it copied The Sims without adding anything new.
Sorry it's in an old thread but I appreciate the link to the free trial, now I can go try it and laugh at how bad it is...

If you read up within the thread you'll see they were talking about the computer game called Singles, it looked like it was kind of a sims 2 influenced romance rip-off game, but it came out before Sims 2 and was in 3D so some of us were thinking of playing it till the REAL game, Sims 2, came out!
I downloaded the trial of the game for fun since I was thinking the same thing something to pass my time until Sims 2 comes out. My opinion was that is pretty much sucks lol The controls are horrible. It is really hard to position any objects bought etc. I played it for maybe 20 minutes and the uninstalled it lol. Not sure if could take it much longer than that but hey this is just my opinion. There isn't anything graphic in it or anything but there isn't anything fun either lol. I would say try the trial definetely before buying it just to make sure you like it. ~Pimms~
