Hi everyone (following the ice-breaker post ) Hello! I'm from Lisbon/Portugal. My favorite book is "Fictions", by Jorge Luis Borges, but some days I may wake up thinking it's Goethe's "Fausto". But what I really enjoy is falling in love with so many books that I can't really know what my favorite is anymore. Favorite movies: "Mother and Son" by Alexander Sokurov, Python's "Life of Brian", Ethan and Joel Coen's, Truffaut's, Tarantino's and Bergman's most movies. I also enjoy Asian horror movies and tv-anonimous-sunday-afternoon-silly-movies. Favorite dessert: orange ice-cream with chocolate mousse cake. I love travelling and tasting different foods from all around the world. I'm a music addicted and Animal Collective, Howe Gelb, Tom Waits and Laurie Anderson big big fan. And Miles Davis. And Tom Jobim. And Beirut. And Fiona Apple. And Nina Simone. And Stephin Merritt. Among so many other musicians I could never name them all and Im always discovering and falling in love with new sounds. Sorry about my English, ok? I dont write perfectly. Dont be shy to tell me when I make a mistake, I like to learn, I will appreciate If you tell me. Do I really have to say my favorite game? Ive been playing since SimCity, since 1996. I remember, as I played it, and watched those little people building their houses, how it would be nice to see those houses and to play with those little people because Im kind of an architecture fan, I like planning cities and houses, I can do that for hours so, as I thought SimCity had been made for me, when I read TS1 was to be released I thought it had been done for me too and became instantly a fan. I like to read threads and tutorials. I use SimsPE to do paintings I love (I love museums and visit as much as I can, see art books and visit sites too, so Im always remembering paintings I would like to see in my sims' homes, I guess I would never have downloaded SimsPE if it wasnt for the paintings ) Im mostly shy and quiet, but today I thought, well, I could try to change that a little and talk to other simmers Have a good evening Buzaranha (word meaning strong wild wind in Portuguese)
Welcome, Buzaranha! I love books too. My favourite books are basically all the books I have cluttered in my book shelves. I could never choose which was the best out of them. I love writing too, but that's another story. Hope you'll be sticking around! I like your style. By the way, your English is fine so don't worry about it.
