To get the slacker career all you have to do is get the newspaper or use the computer and select "Find a Job". You will get several job offers and a job in the slacker career might be one of them. If it's not, just keep trying each day. All the job offers change every morning. If you find the slacker career, then click "Take Job" and there you go!
