How many words to picture? When writing sim stories, how many words do you think is acceptable per page. (Ball park figure, I know as its a forum someone will say 2373.5 is the "Perfect" he he) I am not insinuating that there is a perfect word count per page but, too few and it seems to become a graphic novel with tedious clicking every second, too many and it's like reading an essay every page! he he. Millsim out.
LOL It's like asking how long is a piece of string. I would think, from reading your question, that whatever you write, being few or many words, would be perfect. This was because I found your writing readable, being both spelled correctly and also punctuated. I've never bothered much to read exchange stories because too many writers are terminally lazy, writing in lower case, and using script techniques to avoid the tedium of writing dialogue. I agree that the pictures can reduce the amount of description, but I have tried to read some stories where I was never sure who was who, as the dialogue didn't make it clear which of the sims pictured was speaking. I think that picture stories should rely a lot on the pictures and that, therefore, the actual pictures should be taken with no limit to the attention to detail. I hate pictures where the walls are down, or the sims are too far away to see who they are. So, what I'm saying is give us a link to one of your stories. I'll bet they're great. Or you could check out the World Sims Library ... and I think there's another major story writers forum around somewhere ...
