You don't actually join a band where you practice together and play. What happens is you set up the instruments and get the ones you want to play together on the same lot. Then have the first one play a specific type of music: rock, country, or jazz. Once they are playing have each of the others "join". Ruth
You will also want to have them practice their creative skills, too. The more creativity points they have the better they play.
speaking of bands, I thought I tried this before but I don't remember, Is there a way to get people to watch/dance to your band as you play? Meaning as your playable sim is playing, there able to select another sim and select "watch" or something like that, or am i just buggin.
I don't know if you can get nonplayer sims to watch but you can direct your sims to watch or dance. If your sims creativity level is high enough then they will watch, dance and most importantly tip your players on their own. You may be able to click on the nonplayer sims and get them to watch too but I just never try it since they usually watch anyway. The higher their creativity skills are the more other sims will like their music. Ruth
