    I just deleted one spammer who was apparently selling Chinese jade. (Somehow though, that one was rather obviously a spammer because their responses were not in line with what was being discussed.)

    Flameback deleted it. Perhaps since it had the Kung Fu advertisement it got deleted for that, since advertising on this site is against the rules. (And it's assumed that anyone with advertising is spamming.)

    Yep, banhammer falls on users with spam in sigs. :) A normal user wouldn't link to spam in their sig. It's often they just want Google to crawl for their link.
