if it's a blue icon you can click on it and it automatically puts the files in the bodyshop for you.

OKay let me explain just a little bit better. All the file that are unzipped i can go into and see the blue thing with the person in side the box.But with some of the unzipped files i open them and theres no blue book it's just the name of the outfit or outfits that i want to download. So when i click on them it always say click on the costom content file to install you document (or something like that ) how do i downloads those?

There are two types of custom content files. The first is the .package files. Those are regular files that must be placed by hand. They go in My Documents\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\Downloads.

The second type works like an .exe type. It automatically installs the content where it belongs. It will be called either a .sims2skins file or a .sims2pack. With those you double click on the circular icon and a screen will pop up asking if you want to install this content. If you don't have a corrupted download it will then tell you that the content was successfully installed.

Sometimes the zip will also contain readme or credit files. Those should not be put into the download folder. If you save your zips to a separate folder, then you can go back and read the credit or readme files whenever you feel the need.

I hope that's what you were asking.
