i need to know how to install objects.... Hey can any1 show me how to use download items? because everytime i try it winzip just pops up and i HATE winzip i have no idea how to work it...... HELP!!!!!!!
I think you will find most of DL's are zip files. When you down load them put them in the sims file that is called downloads. When you unzip them the program will put them in the right area. The exceptions are floor/wall files and skin/texture files. those are put in the appropriate files. Remember that some skins will not open in your game if you don't have the matching mesh, which is kind of the skeleton for the outfit. THE other thing that you can do is download file maid (http://mattwork.potsdam.edu/projects/SimFileMaid/) then you simply give her the zip and she puts it where its supposed to go. leave your zip files in the download file. I think she can handle everything except roofs. those go directly into that file and you unzip them there. I hope this helps...
