    Please Help!

I used the bool prop cheat for a couple of things (getting my guy abducted, making a Tombstone of Life and Death), and I also turned off the censors, and my gameplay is fine, everything worked, but when I go to the options (...), the icons to save, quit, switch to neighborhood, can't be clicked. If anyone knows what to do, please help!

Hi, AntiBarbie. I think you've only just posted this question and the moderators and helpful folks are not on the board 24 hours a day. You need to give them a little time. They'll be glad to help as soon they are able.

I'm not the best at technical stuff but I would ask if you turned the boolprop cheat off, as in set it to "false."

The second thing I would suggest is, while you wait for those helpful moderators to deal with their RL (meaing Real Life), that you try the search function at the top of the board. It has an "advance" option, too. It may be that others have had your problem and that it has been discussed in other threads.

    Good luck, anyway. :)

    Hi Anti,

You're probably in bed now but maybe you'll see this when you get up.

What you need to do is this: (a)tell us which expansion packs you have (b)whether you own the game legally (no WAREZ/hacked games supported) (c)if you are using a no CD crack, or utility and (d) if you have any downloaded material of any sort and (e) if the build buy buttons are greyed out an unaccessible.

Also are all the sims on the lot and controllable, or is one of them missing?
You have used the boolprop to get an abduction. I never tried that one before but from past experience with "natural" abductions the game altering functions (build/buy/save etc) are typically disabled during the event. Is the abductee back yet? Will he respond to orders? Any problems in this area will need careful use of boolprop to try to reset the error that is screwing the game up ...

Failing that just close the game down (Press the Windows key on your keyboard and then use [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del] and choose to end The Sims 2 that way. You will loose all changes since you last saved, but from the sound of things this will be a Good Thing ;)
