I'm back! I am returning to this forum and Sims 2. Anyone remember me? Anyone? Long story short, my family suffered a massive financial setback that seriously impeded my ability to play... anything. I did manage to beat GTA San Andreas and get Xfire, but my Sims 2 time went in the toilet. Now I'm back,hoping to get my hands on University soon and Nightlife soon after. So, what's changed since last I was here? Is it possible the modify object meshes reliably now? When I left it was a Sims PE thing that wasn't compatable with lots of different stuff. It kept getting furnishing skins that wouldnt show or turned everything solid blue.
Well I remember you, Rowan. Big financial setback eh? Been there myself so you have my sympathies. So glad to see you back PE's been thru many changes and its cousin DatGen is coming along nicely. Meshing is pretty commonplace but still prone to quirkiness. New meshes and recolours are best installed in very small batches and tested carefully. EA/Maxis has made a download manager Pescado has moved home more often than a Sim and now has his own bunker at http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ where, in spite of appearances, his excellent mods and hacks are all available free of charge
Welcome back, I remember your posts from when I used to lurk. Oh and some guy called Jack Thompson thinks TS2 has blatant adult content in it and wants to ban it. I think EA told him where to stick that idea. Oh and vampires now rule the earth.
Rowan!!! (Squeal!!) Heck yeah, I remember you! How could I ever forget your hot Simmie signature?! I'm sorry to hear about your financial emergancy, but glad that you're back and everything's better. I think that Mirelly gave you a pretty good overview of all the changes to the community since we saw you last. The modders and designers are getting a pretty good handle on the game and on their craft, so the downloads are more stable for the most part. Sometimes we run into things that are older or just not put together well, but not always. Anyway, it's good to have you back, and I hope you never have to leave us and the Simming world again.
LOL I've heard of this jaggoff, as Ive been playing GTA: San Andreas for the PC and posting on a couple boards. This guy is so misguided. And Hiya Kristal, glad to see you still out and Simming about. Pescado has his own place now? I better bookmark it!
