    I'm doing it.

I'm reinstalling TS2 on my computer.

I had to uninstall when my computer went pyscho after it conflicted with iTunes. I reckon I was just unlucky that time, I'll be safe this time.

I had forgotten what a mess it was sorting out all these bloody discs and installation codes!

thats why I try to keep everything together... but out of curiousity how many downloads did you have with your game? JUst wondering because I seem to be reading about a lot of crashes lately and I wonder if there is a physical limit to them and the functionality of our computers.

I doubt that there is a physical limit to the numbers of downloads we can have. I've had as much as 11gb of downloads and the worst thing that happened was that I spent nearly an hour each time I booted the game up. I'm down to 6 gb because I got tired of the loading time (which is still pretty long but not as bad as it used to be). But I wasn't having problems with crashing because of the number of downloads.

That being said, you can get crashes because of the types of downloads you have. If you have things like hacked items or mod/programs (which I won't mention because they change the T for Teen rating), those can definitely cause game crashing. That's why Maxis always says to remove hacked items before complaining about crashes. (Some other custom content items can cause problems as well, but not nearly as badly as mods and hacked items.)

I don't think I had any downloads and stuff at all tbh. Still on the ole dial up ;).
It was definitely a conflict with iTunes. I remember because it came on Christmas Day, a couple of hours after I'd downloaded iTunes. We had to take it back to the shop to be repaired and it cost 30 quid.

    Fun times!
