    import custom scenery

    I have made custom objects and scenery I want to use in a movie.

    How do I install custom scenery into Sims 2 for making a movie?

    Or custom objects?

    thanks

    Not sure what you mean by 'custom scenery'.
    And with objects it depends on what program you've used.

    I must be getting cynical in my old age. I'm thinking that anyone who can successfully make custom objects and scenery will have learned exactly how to use their stuff.

    However all custom stuff belongs in the downloads folder in My Docs\EA Games\The Sims 2\ ... if you don't have a folder make it and this is a good place to put recolors and custom decor and terrain paints (scenery?) if you've been using Body Shop or Homecrafter ... though, frankly, those programs will export your creations to the game anyway often even when you didn't really wanna keep them :eek:

    If you've been making stuff from scratch it won't appear in the game unless it is properly contained within a Sims 2 .package (DBPF) file and for that you will need either SimPE or DatGen and, almost certainly, you'll need the Microsoft .NET framework.
