    Improving lifetime score

sorry about the title, I can never think of the actual word when I'm on here! :p
But what I want to ask is what is the best way to improve the lifetime bar when making friends? By lifetime I mean the one that needs to go up to 50 to be best friends with someone and up to 70 to fall in love.
oh, how annoying that I can't remember the proper word for it!!
Anyway, yes, what are the interactions that you've found best for improving the little bar?
I mainly want to know so as I can ge my sims to fall in love a little quicker. So far the best ways I've found are slow dancing and kissing whilst on the bed. But that could just be in my imagination.... what have you found best?

Playing red hands seems to work for me. And making out but maybe you have to be in love to do that in sims?

you dont need to be in love, just best friends. And I find hugs and lots of kisses are the best way to go. Backrubs are quite good too (if you cancel the backrub as soon as your sim starts the action it takes virtually no time and you get all the points for it:))

if your using PC versions you could always use boolprop to push the bars to 100 and then get the sims chatting and stuff like that or at least use the "Make Sim My Conact" option.

Don't forget your aspiration rewards. The sunglasses give you 2x the effect of any social interaction. Just make sure you go slow so you won't get 2x a negative reaction! Also the luv-tub reward is no ordinary jacuzzi. It unlocks the "whooho" option at a LRS of 50 (while in the tub of course. ;))

Something else I've noticed is that sims get more positive reactions when you have them use all of the social interactions available. This also seems to make unlocking more advanced social interactions. A typical example of how my sims make friends: Greet, tell joke, chat, tell joke, admire, hang out/or play kicky ball, gossip, tickle, friendly hug. If you want to establish a romance just throw in some flirting every third interaction or so. Remember to go slow, use "charm" two or three times before you move up to "suggestion" which you use two or three times before you advance to "hit on" then "sweet talk", at which time you should unlock romantic kissing and hugging and things escalate from there. HTH :D

ooooooh thanks for that, werebear. I always forget about the aspiration awards, I only ever use the re-nu-yu orb, I've never really understood what the others do!
    I'll try that out :D
