Initialize error this is what it reads when i click play "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142) click ok to terminate the application" (application error) how can i fix this? or can i? i dont even get the loading screen if you could help me out that would be great
More than likely it is a hardware issue. Post your specs so we can check it out. If you don't know how, go to your Start Menu, select Run and type DXDIAG. Save to a text file and post that here.

Updating the drivers to your video card might fix the problem: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_169.21_whql.html
Just confirming you don't have a downloaded copy, because that would potentially give the error you have. That aside, it looks like a memory conflict, so try closing all programs, and/or restarting the computer. And you can run a memory diagnostic as well if you want.
