Installing Sims 2-Problem. Okay, i was attempting to install "Sims 2" Everything went fine, when i was installing it, it stopped at about 97% and something popped up and said "An Error has occured with this file Retry or Cancel" I click retry about 50 times, it kept popping up! i canceled the installation and tried 2 more times. It didnt work. Anyone know what the problem is? If you do, please tell me! i cant live without my Sims game! Thanks in advance. Tiffany aka Tiff.
Is this the DVD version or the CD Version? If the latter which disc is the one causing the problem? Take a long hard look at it to see if you can spot a scratch or bit of dirt. You might just have a faulty disc. If so you need to seek a free replacement under warranty. In the UK the seller is the one responsible for such matters and I would just return to the store and demand a replacement. Don't think that works so well in Chicago but y'all can always try
