    Installs and nothing

I have looked around at some of the problems other people were having that seem to be the same but mine is slightly different. I got spore only a 3 days ago and installed it on my desktop. (this is a desktop that has run Crisis, World of Warcraft, all the Battlefield games, etc, etc so i know that its not the fact that my computer can't handle it) After the game installed nothing started to autorun so i figure it's just because it just got installed. So i go into the drive try to get it to run there... nothing so i go into the files and try to use the autorun there nothing. After about 10 min of pissin' around and getting no where i just figured i'd restart the thing. Well it shut down but never came back on. I'm not blaming spore for crashing my desktop but its the only programe that has been added (no new downloads either) in the past month. So, after i cooled off i tried loading it onto my labtop which is also able to play games that demand some high system req. I loaded the game just as i did on my desktop and wouldn't you know that it still will not play. As was with my desktop all the files have been installed and i can freely move through them and what not but the game simply will not play. Idk if its the softwhere or what but this is the 2nd computer i have tried to load it on. Both the desktop and the labtop are under a year old. My drivers are all updated as far as i can tell and my temp folder is clean. Not sure what to do but if i find out that my labtop crashes after i shut it down this afternoon i'm going to be very pissed at EA. Any help would be great!!!

swmeek I got your benevolent dictator pal!!

Return the game and ask for a new copy !
If it's not playing on either machine then the possibility of the disk being bad is pretty good!
Also check the disk and see if you can see any kinds of scratches etc. that might have prevented the game from fully installing!

Thats what i was thinking and i'm glad i saved the receipt from best buy. I can see a couple very small starches but nothing to bad... then again it could be something not noticeable to the eye. I'm dieing to play the game but i'll have to return it and get a new copy.

    Thanks for the help!! XD
