    'Invisable' Objects, Sims and Plumbob

I have Windows Vista and untill I completely re-installed my system, everything had worked fine.
I re-installed Sims 2 onto my computer but the second I put some custom content or even a patch on there, it did this ..

It also does this if I install the Sims 2 Bon Voyage.

    Whats going on?!

Interesting pic, but it doesn't tell us a lot.

Run dxdiag and get back to us with information requested on that page.

If you have added custom content, have installed the latest CEP?

Have you got the latest drivers for your graphics card? (Run Windows update and see the gpu manufacturer's website)

We can give you links galore when we have your system info.

Erm, you said you reinstalled your system. Do you mean Vista?

You might try getting a new graphics driver from NVIDIA click here

Yes, I had to re-install everything on my computer as it had crashed.

I tried instaling a new graphics driver from the link you provided, it actually lets me display the small amount of custom content that is on there now, but my sims and objects are still 'invisable.'

The strange thing is, the game works perfectly, no freezes or glitches, just the problem of 'invisable' sims.
