loading multiple expansion packs I just purchased the Sims Mac 2 and all the MAC expansion packs and want to know if there is any specific order in which I should load them. Do I download the patches for each expansion pack after loading? any advice is greatly appreciated! I am new to the MAC world but not to Sims - our family played for years with the orignal version and expansion packs. We just moved over to the MAC world at Christmas!
As far as I know, no specific order, though just in case you might have problems, download them in the order they were made. And don't patch them till you finish all the downloads. So, that would be: Sims 2, University, Nightlife, OFB, and Pets. Then see about the patches.
That would also be my advice. There is a debate going on that you no longer need to install the expansions in any particular order, but I always say, "Better safe than sorry!" Also, I believe that any patches that you install should come from Aspyr - NOT EA Games or Maxis!
