Could you, perhaps, explain what happened? What were you doing when this happened? I mean, did you click on something or did it just happen randomly? Has this happened before in your game? Sorry about all the questions, but I gotta have a bit more info on what happened if I'm going to help you.

Have you tried just to quit without saving and then going on your game again? It might fix it, you never know.

okay. i just bought SIMS2 so i'm still new to all this. I think it might of happened when i was in a cheat mode? I don't recall it happening, I just noticed i couldn't choose her anymore and I only had the other guys options available. I haven't tried to restart because i didn't want to loose the house and everything i edited. I guess i can still try it, will it delete everything i added to the house? I haven't saved it since this has happened.

Don't mess with things that you don't know how to use.

    Ctrl + Shift + C
    boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
Hold down the 'Shift' key on your keyboard and click on the sim you want selectable again.
    Click 'Make Selectable'.
    Ctrl + Shift + C
boolprop testingcheatsenabled false < Change it back to that so you don't end up destroying your game, this will also stop that grim reaper error you made that other thread about.

Yes, if you haven't saved the things that you have done to the house, you will loose it. What I usually do after I've built a house, is to save it (especially if the house took me a long time to make). It's always good to save, just in case anything (like this) happens.
^ A little tip for your future sim playing. :winks:

Anyway, I'd take Flamey's advice, if I were you. Hopefully you haven't rushed off to quit your game without saving. The key to this forum is to wait and be patient for replies. The longer you wait the better your replies will be (mostly).
