Merola's multipainting I did a search before posting but just wanted to ask 2 specific things about this painting. I can see a few people use this, I assume its a hack so will it cause any problems with my game? I get the general feeling from other forum users hacks are a bit of a 'no no'. Just because I am a "moderator" please don't think this is official advice. Merola's painting has been around for some time. It is not associated with any specific problems. Most users have found that it is a problem-free solution to the inate difficulties that Maxis built into the game. I haven't used it myself. This is because -- when I have an easy way out of a problem -- the easy way is the only way I use ... and cheat/hacks likes merola's painting have a tendency to store up trouble when they are used over and over. I prefer to use game modifications such as those made by FFS (also known as JMPescado and Boris). Their code mods run within the game itself (and are also very easily removed and returned) and they are therefore demonstrably more stable than any hacked object. Thanks Mirelly, Can't open that link at the mo so will have a quick look in a while. I've backed up my game so will give the painting a quick try out of curiosity... If I mess with my game I'll have no-one to blame but myself!!!

Your link was fine, It just didn't work straight away so knew I just had to try a few times. Theres loads of cool stuff on there. I can't see something on there to max sims needs though, have you come accross one on there in particular at all? Maybe I'm just being incredibly dumb! lol
Ooh where to start in the sea of Flying Fish Systems goodness. First off there isn't a maxing out gizmo there. Those are for cheating cheats. Serious cheats (like yours truly ) prefer to have the game made more sensible. FFS mods do exactly what it says on the lid. I'd go for the following before getting totally addicted and getting the lot. nocheering hack (speeds up kids getting off the bus with A+'s) payatbox hack (sims get bills and pay immediately) manualnavigation hack (allows you to stack "run" "do something" "run" do something else" orders) phonehack hack (gives unbelievable control over phone usage!!!! Much easier to make friends and you can control them better.) Once you have those you will find it much easier to get your sims aspiration points up and promotions and maxed out goodness will be much easier to come by. (My latest sim just realised his lifetime want with 15 days before he goes senior ... he is in platinum mood for the rest of his life!) By the time you have those you will want more and there are lots ...
