There's a long thin furnished 3 bedroom home on my simpage http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/lot_detail.php?asset_id=9467&asset_type=lot&user_id=145644 It costs under $20k too. Is also hack free. If you want more of a trailer look just replace the roof with a flat one and take out the foundations and replace it with the post-supported decking ... tho' most mobile home owners tend to brick-in the gap underneath anyway and many come with pitched roofs too.
I also just uploaded this one http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/lot_detail.php?asset_id=149246&asset_type=lot&user_id=145644 Also 3 beds, fully furnished under $20k. It contains some usermade walls and floors (Inge's from www.simlogical.com) and Pescado's phonehack ... though I can't think why anyone would want to play without the phone hack!
Well, other than the fact that you don't want two copies of the PhoneHack, and that you may have godknowswhatversion, sure.
Really? In what ways? I just heard horror stories about some items so I decided not to use any. Plus, I don't use cheats. I even have a rule about no "redos" unless I've said to myself first, I just want to see what would happen if I ... I just think it makes things more of a challenge that way, even if some of my favorite characters end up dead.
Most of Pescado's hacks are small .package files that you place in your downloads folder. If you find that you don't like the changes they make to the way your game plays you can just take them out again without it having any effect on your existing houses or families. All of the hacks are designed to take some of the Maxoid Monkey wrenches out of the way sims are programmed to behave; for example the coffee cup hack makes sims go to a nearby sink to wash up their coffee cup instead of trekking thru 27 rooms up stairs and downstairs to reach a coffee table with a vacant space (usually one that another sim will need to use to put his thinking cap on before he goes to work ... when he finds it blocked with a coffee cup he will then trek thru 27 rooms up stairs and down stairs with the thinking cap to reach the vacant kitchen counter next to the coffee machine and sink to dump the head-gear ... taking so long to do so that he misses the car pool ... )
Wow. Sounds like Pescado really knows what he (she?) is doing. I could never hack anything ... I'd like one to get service people to leave when they're asked to. I've had to move out of a lot of houses, even before I got University, because of that. I even killed Kaylynn because I didn't want to have to move out of and have to refurnish a house I really liked. Of course, now it's haunted ... Thanks for the clarification! I assume Pescado has a website? I'll have to look for it.
Mirelly, those are terrific examples of FREE mobile homes. Thanks for sharing (and thanks for uploading them!)It kind of makes me want to make a little trailer park in my poor section of town for starting out college graduates! =) Maybe I'll upload that if I ever get it done!
