Money Problems? Theres somethign that always bothered me about the Sims. If you made a 8 person family, you HAD to cheat to survive. I think that you should get like $20000 to start like before, but get an extra $5000 or somethign for every additional person.
I feel you Supernova. It was hard to run a five member family, build a house and keep everyone happy. Josh sed a long time ago the due to inflation they were going to start out w/ more money but he didn't say how much.
Sims 2 Yea more money for each person added into a Sim house. LOL. Anyway I have a wonder. Has anyone yet tried to make the hair on the Sims 2 longer yet? How can it be done anyone doing this yet or tring. I have and kept on failing. LOL. Oh well I noticed in on of the pics of the Sims 2 that there is one that has hair longer then the ones they gave us in the Sims 2 Bodyshop, anyway it is a pony tail. I believe I saw it on www.sims2.com web sight.
You can shorten hair (using the alpha .bmps) but you can't make it longer. The reason some of the Sims2 pics have longer hair is that they have access to all the meshes. They decided that it would make BodyShop too big if they added all the meshes that we would have liked to have. That's why people have been begging for more content packs.
I like looking at everyones sims that they make and I would love to see everyones sims when the sims 2 come out I am going to post my family on this site. So that everyone can see it!
I made a few 8 person families in my sims 1 game, mostly so my main family I was playing would have more people to make friends with and move up in their careers, haha! Anyway, I did manage to run a house with 8 sims without cheating... BUT they didn't have much at first! They all had to work to earn enough for a second bathroom as their first priority, haha! And most were sleeping on the cheapest loveseats instead of beds.... poor sims! Grilled burgers every day, since it was cheaper than a fridge. Eventually they earned enough to get some wallpaper and FLOOR instead of the grass, haha! ...I guess they would have been much better off if I HAD cheated instead of being stubborn, but it was funny... it built character...
