    mouse problems

i had to put my sims alway cuz of study reasons anyways when i set it up and put the mouse in seculy it was going fine but my mouse just froze i couldnt move it so i thought it must be the whole mouse and i used it before and it worked perfectly, then i found a couple of mouses and i pluged them in (not at the same time)but none of the mouses work but they were all old mouses. so my dad bought me a new mouse from loblaws and i pluged that one in and that one didnt work ether!!! so is it my computer or are the mouses cheap?? and i check the file of the mouse and every thing was fine!!?!? whats goin on with my computer????? :(

Did you install the new mouse drivers? (The ones that came with the mouse.)
Oh and is it PS/2 or USB?

Ahhh,Make sure your not usen a mac with a microsoft brand mouse because it can freeze up.
if there laser mouses i would try a duster and if there ball mouses that the ball out and dust the inside.

also check the mouse port(on back of pc) isnt dusy or bent in someway it can cuase problems.

And like the other dude said is it ps2 or usb.

    I had a similar problem.

To me it sounds like you have an actual fault with the port on your computer.
