How Do I my game won't save

my game wont save!!!

When ever one of my Sims dies of old age, my game wont let me save and it won't allow me to quit or go back to the neighborhood either!
What is wrong?

My game won't save after a sim dies of old age. Once the sim dies and the urn is left, the game won't let me return to the neighborhood, save or quit! What should I do?

 

Hi. It happened to me This update http://thesims2.ea.com/update/ solved it. That's what they call the "extremely rare problem where the UI would become disabled when an elder dies of old age." :bandit:

 

I bought both TS2 and TS2U. Problems so far? 1) sim dies of old age and I can't save the game; 2) no grave after a sim dies of old age; 3) homework disappears after children or teens came back from scholl and if it happens with teens, children from that family will pop out somewhere in the lot at 1 pm (with teens); 4) in college students don't get credits for doing assignments, writing papers or going to class and even with the skill bar complete (after working three times more than usual!) they go to final exam and have C or less; 5) after going to final exam for 3 hours they would appear with no grade and the college option would still say "go to final exam" and after a couple of hours at home (I realized they could go to final exam forever and ever and ever, brrr) the game would say "You just miss the final exam...", first, even so, they had A+ but after a while they would have the worst grades and have to repeat the semester; 6) sometimes babies stick to the floor or in the crib, no one can pick them, and to fix this I must move the family out and move it in again; 7) sometimes children can't go to bed: they will do everything else but when I tell them to sleep they will stand like if their feet were grasped in the floor! I don't remember having similar problems with sims 1 or any of its expansion packs. These new games are great but they do have problems.
