Sounds like Making Magic It would certainly solve a 'move out' option if taxis aren't available though in my game when couples break up one of them just walks off the lot sobbing pathetically, later to be found in Sim Bin waiting to be rehoused.
Since you're playing this on X-box, gameplay might be different than what we are used to on the PC. It sounds like he's "moved out" after the divorce. On the PC, they weep and walk off the lot. Maybe the black hole is how they leave the lot??
