my sims wont go to class! If I click on them, nothing happens. The 'Go to Class' option and the 'Do Homework' option have disappeared. The student doesn't automatically go either. This has happened twice. I recently downloaded items from the Sims2.ea site, and two homes from modthesims2, so could this possibly have some affect? Also, when I enter in the money cheat, there's a lot of previous writing, which I can try and post unless there is another reason for this?
I suspect you have an unwanted hack in your game. People over on the official BBS have complained of the same thing happening (especially with some of the older hacks which weren't updated for TS2U). The Clean Installer from ModTheSims2 helps you find the unwanted hacks. As for the money cheat, if you misspell it, you'll get a lot of odd writing as previous things that happened during the build of the game. The cheat (when spelled correctly) should still work. In fact, it makes it easier since you can do multiple cheats without recalling the cheat box. Then you type Exit to close the cheat box.
