My whole neighborhood is GONE!!! :worried:I went to play last night and my whole neighborhood is just gone. I play on my PC which is a laptop and I use XP. That's strange. I can't help you to restore your old saved games, but I'm pretty sure that if you delete the The Sims 2 folder in "C:\documents and settings\YOUR_USER_NAME_WITHIN_WINDOWS\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2", next time you restart the game, the whole directory will be recreated with the neighborhoods, and you will have to configure to your taste all over again (meaning, associating downtowns, universities, setting the seasons for each location in the order you want them to happen, etc...). I think you could also try to do this: before deleting "The Sims 2" folder, save the Neighborhoods folder in "C:\documents and settings\YOUR_USER_NAME_WITHIN_WINDOWS\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods". With a backup of that folder, you could try to delete the "the sims 2" folder entirely, recreate it again loading the game, backup the newly neighborhood folder just in case, and exchanging it with your other neighborhood folder to see if your saved games come back to life. Other than this I really don't know how to help you out. So I hope this helps. Byes !!!
