    need info on limitations

I have a Site on simgames.net already and have no wish to remove it. But, I also have another site that I would like to get hosted here. I am on the Ad supported rate, and would want the other site to be the same. My first site is SIMbucks, devoted to The SIMS and SIMS 2. The other site that I would want to have hosted here is called Evonari's Imperium, and is based on the game Master of Orion 3. I would be having downloads of files of upto 14 megs (compressed). These would be Mods for the Game and done by a variety of people who love the game. Is is possible for me to set up a second site on simgames.net

This is good. Now all I have to do is wait for the Manager or higher to get in touch with me. It took 3 weeks for SIMbucks.

We generally don't allow users to have two accounts. I am considering allowing subdomain accounts to add fourth level subdomains. (something.yoursite.simgames.net)

What do people think of that?

I'd allow four of these per account, probably, if I can set it up. (Same number as domain level 1 accounts can have, and for that we'd bump up the number of ftp accounts, and mysql dbs to match domain level 1.)

Oh, and sorry for not answering you via email. I've been pretty swamped, and I have to get a few hours to sift through the spam for hosting applications before I get a chance to process anything new.

That should be middle of next week at the latest.

This sound very good. I just need to know, can I upload large files (14 meg should be the largest)? They would be compressed text and graphics for the game. And as for not answering me via Email, Trust me, I know about being swamped. I am just glad that incredimail has a spam filter, so I can kill off a lot of the junk before I have to look at it. especially the porn garbage (with a 13 year old son, this was a requirement for an email client). I look forward to your decision later this next week, and Thank You.

There is no limit to the size of files you upload via FTP. As long as you're not uploading individual files that are 500 MB each, I am not too concerned.

The only reason that I mentioned the file size is that they would be Downloads. These would contain text, data, and graphics for the game Master of Orion 3. And, no, 20 meg would be the max limit for these files. I can't see anybody downloading a 500 meg file o_O And thank you for the response here.
