new game and launcher I have BV and I like the launcher instead of having the game just start up but if I buy Sims Pets it won't have that anymore right? Is there anyway to have pets as the last installed game but have BV launcher start up? I plan on buying Freetime too so maybe it won't matter?
You're joking, right? Yeah ... course you are. What the game needed was a launcher. Me? I'm looking forward to the next expansion after Freetime ... it's called Hats ... for too long our sims have been forced to make so with a mere hundred or so headwear options and only three hairstyles of the sort likely to be seen on a real person. This is clearly ludicrous because there are zillions of hat-styles in real life. Hats will address this shortage with an expansion devoted solely to headgear, catering to all cultures and every conceivable occasion. Ever wonder what the Elephant Man wore on his huge misshapen head when he took a shower? When The Sims 2: Hats hits the stores in October '08 you will need wonder no longer. Thrill to the wide selection of luridly coloured wimples, prepare to be dazzled by the crazy dog-tooth check designs of the Arab headresses, be alarmed by the huge mounds of fruit piled high for millinery elan, be confused by the bewildering array of animal heads, without which no costume cupboard is complete. But this is the bit that will really get you salivating ... nay! Drooling with anticipation .... Hats will introduce the latest concept in game launching systems. The launcher will need its own launcher and will be run from an entirely separate disc. After the launcher launcher launches, you PC will ask if you really want to launch the launcher and after a short wait (around three days ... may be longer at peak periods) Will Wright will personally Instant Message you to give you permission to launch the Hats launcher. Wow. I am so excited ....
And what's best, The Hats expansion pack will come with a free helmet as a bonus. That way, you won't get scuffed up when the game crashes on you
