new glasses models? anyone got a clue on this? im trying to create virtual me and cant complete it cuz the current glasses in the bodyshop dont match mine.
There may be a problem with the glasses. From what I was reading yesterday on Sims2 BBS (in the "maxis thread of the day" in a message from either Schweighsr or Thursday), the glasses need a new mesh to be able to change. They were saying that until that happens, we are stuck with just the one shape of sunglasses and one shape of regular glasses. Boy, oh, boy I hope they put out a bunch of new meshes for us (and soon.) The lack of meshes (clothes, hair, glasses, etc.) seems to be the only thing slowing down the creativity of this bunch. It's amazing how much custom content is out there already. (And I can't wait until I've got the skill to add to it!)
glasses On Mod The Sims 2 there should be plenty of nice glasses to download with different meshes. I'm no expert on meshes and that stuff but I have downloaded "Cat Eye Glasses" and "Bug Eye Glasses" off of that site and they look totally different to the Maxis ones so I'm guessing they have a different mesh.
Honey, not to be mean, but please look at the date of the threads before replying to them...this was back from May of 2004...more than likely they've found it on their own. If you have a question about a similar issue then feel free to create a new thread about it, but please don't resurrect dead threads like this. Any other questions...see the friendly chatting guidelines.
Not a bad idea when they are not an issue that comes up and needs to be discussed often. This type especially is unnecessary to reuse.
