Troubleshooting new items not downloading into game- plz help!

    new items not downloading into game- plz help!

    when I download any new expansion pack, none of the new items show up on the build or buy mode just the basic stuff from the first game- everything else is fine just no new items to buy!! Can anyone let me know what I can do?? Thanks so much!

    Downloaded? As in illegaly? Sorry, I have to ask..

    When you install a new expansion pack you need to start the game with that expansion pack disc in the disc drive. In other words, if Nightlife is the last EP you installed, leave the Nightlife disc in the drive when you start the game.

    I'm guessing that this is your problem. Please let us know how it goes. :)

    (p.s. Expansion pack is different than stuff pack. You don't use stuff packs (like holiday stuff packs) in the drive to start the game. Only EPs like Nightlife, Seasons, Pets, OFB, etc.)

    Also after installing a new expansion the game automatically disables custom content. You need to re-enable it (don't ask how ... just read the buttoms before you click them when you start the game)

    Oh, that's right. I forgot about that stupid Enable button business. I thought I'd lost all my downloads, too, for a few minutes. :cry:

    Worse, even if you enable the downloads, they STILL don't appear in the game until you've exited and then started the game again. :( It sure did load a lot faster, though, before I re-enabled the downloads folder.
