Delayed Until June? Earlier today, I posted a message about The Sims 3's status on EA's press release page at http://www.ea.gamespress.com/. Now it's official: The Sims 3 will ship on 2 June 2009. For this, EA gives two reasons: The June launch will allow EA to increase awareness of the game; They intend to make TS3 the "summer blockbuster" It also confirms two other things: There will be an internet connection required, but it is not clear whether this will be required for activation only or gameplay, as well; The release for other platforms, including Mac OS X, iPhone, and iPod touch will take place during summer, 2009. Sims 3 in June 2009? Could The Sims 3 be delayed until June 2009? Rumors have already started flying this morning as one of EA's Press Sites have now started showing The Sims 3's release date as June 2009. Stay tune for... Sims 3 in June 2009?
Boo Hoo Hoo! Maybe you guys and gals will get a less buggy version of the game now. I seen over at Gamespot that they were delaying it because of marketing the game or something.
