Oh nooo! Well, my sim had a baby then she died - and the baby has disappeared! When I go to neighbourhood, and click on the house, it shows the baby/little girl. How can I find her? I want to move a new family into the household, because it's my favourite haha. Can I clone it or something, with all of the furniture? I think the easiest way would be to find the kid...Is there any cheat to find all family that should be/whom are in the house? AND, I'm sure if you evict them - the furnishing goes too. I'm gutted! Help? xxx
Kids younger than teens can't live on their own. If the mom died the kid goes up for adoption. Normally you'd see a social worker come and take her away, but even if you didn't she's probably in the adoption pool. You should have another family adopt her: choose the age bracket she was in (infant, toddler, or child) and she should be the child who shows up when the new family chooses adoption. Be aware that they must have at least $5000 simoleans before they can adopt. Just because the picture shows the kid doesn't mean she's still there. Have you tried to play the house? If you do, and she is there, the social worker should come right away. If there's no one there that means she probably already did.
When I click on the house, it shows that she's still on the loading screen. I chose another family and tried to move them in, and it said "Do you wan't to combine the #1 family with the #2 family?" I think I picked the kid up and then clicked the buy bar at the bottom, where they disappear...What do I do? lol.
I only had that happen with puppies (so far). Everytime one of the Servant NPCs picks up a newborn puppy to cuddle, they instantly disappear from the lot and the family. To resolve the problem I usually get rid of the servant and use the Insimenator with the option "Restore Family". Inge's Teleporter shrub might work as well but in your case the suggested adoption would be the safest bet. -le
I don't actually want the baby in the house, I want rid of it so it doesn't appear on the loading screen etcetera. Where's the Insimenator, again? I can't remember if I have it...Or how to use it for that matter.
