Old game review Hello, Star defender ( http://www.fungamesplaza.com/pd-star_defender_ii.html ) is a great game; anyone knows other games in the same style? I am specially interested in high quality remakes after old hits such as Galaga, Space Invaders, etc.... These games are great, and I would like to have as many of them as possible.
Oh those fun shoot em ups were the bane of everyone's lives. Serious gamers bought a BBC micro or an Acorn in 1984 and played Elite (now reverse engineered and ported to Windoze. I tried it a while back and I was still rubbish at. Trying to get into the space stations without a docking computer is just nuts. 3D graphics in 1984 on a 32 kilobyte machine. I think I've got cookies on my HD that are bigger than 32k
