    Open for business PROBLEMS

Ok, so I just bought ofb. I started up a little cafe and I have the refrigerated dispalys. I have food in them, but I can't sell it. Why? I also have a mag rack and can't click on it. Why? Please, someone out there, HELP me!?!:( :depressed:

To get them to sell you need to make sure that you click on the icon that looks like a sales tag in the business panel. Then click on anything you want to sell. If you have the refrigerated display cases you can just click on it and anything in that display will be put up for sale. That may be what you have to do with the magazine rack too, I'm not sure though since I don't have a shop that sells magazines.

You can also choose "price everything." I think you click on the sim for that.

I'm afraid to us the price everything option because I'm worried that it would put something for sale that wasn't supposed to be. Maybe I'm just a worry wort though. LOL

I've noticed that in some cases you have to click on the tray or the base of the thing you want to put for sale. I found that I'd have to click the plates, for example, in order to sell the sandwiches. With the robots I have to click on the base unit. And too, when my sim finishes building a robot, I might have to go into buy mode and move the thing to the floor before I can price it. Unless I put it in his inventory and he goes through the restock function.

So it all turns out be just a little tricky until you get the hang of it. Of course, I haven't even tried the restaurant or bakery business yet.
