out of options? i got the sims 2 for christmas, and it worked fine.well,we re-formatted the computer shortly after, and i hadn't gotten around to re-installing it,due to work and whatnot.well, before i re-installed it,i had installed a virus protection program, so that my computer would be secure.I didn't have this before. well, this week, i re-installed the game, and to my dismay, one of two things will happen. a) the screen will quaddruple on itself, even though i set the properties of the game to the " -w" setting, or b)the game will load properly, but when it reaches the part where the you should be able to see the houses and details of the neighborhoods, nothing will happen.this has me really stumped.i tried closing all the programs, and all that the tech support tells you to do,and i still get this problem.i have also un-installed and re-installed about...5 times already. i would be very greatful to anyone who knows how to fix this and is patient enough to tell me.it's frustrating for this to happen repeatedly.:(
