    Packaging Families

Move a family from one neighborhood to another. I know I saw something somewhere about packaging families. But I don't remember where I saw it.

Families are packaged up with their houses. Adter you click a house to play a family on the neighborhood screen you get a smaller description window. On the left side is a carton icon that offers you the opportunity to package the lot (including family) to either the Sims2 site or to your computer.

I don't recommend moving families between neighborhoods. They take with memories that lead nowhere. They'll be having wants that cannot be filled and all sorts of malarkey.

If you have a bunch of them, you will have a neighborhood that will play well for a short while but then unexplicably crash and never load again. I know, I did it.

I never thought about the sims wants beging a problem. I can see now where it would be. Such as wanting to talk to someone who's not in that neighborhood, etc. I have some sims in one neighborhood that I really like, but there aren't many sims in Strangetown to really interract with. Pleasantview seems to be the best developed neighborhood by EA. Ah well. I'll just work on some other families and create a few more to try and get enough inhabitants to interact with. Thanks for the heads up on the want thing.
