Pet shops anyone? 'Ello everybody! :classic: I was just wondering the other day if you could have pet shops in Sims 2 Pets? I've never tried it myself but I was going to.. But then my PC broke down so I have to use this old one which doesn't let me have Pets on it. Oh well. I've searched the forums to see if anybody else had said anything about pet shops and I found zilch (zero in German, I think). I guess I'll have to be the first. :biggrin: ...Well, does anyone know if you can - like in TS1? Cheersies.
Yes you can. There are already pet shops available where you can go to buy pets, but if you want you can buy a commercial lot and have your sim run one. I've done it several times. It's fun if you add a 'pet park' on the lot as well. If you try to do one from your home, I don't think you can have the dog and cat cages (which enable you to sell dogs and cats like in the commercial lots)....however, you can breed your dog or cat and sell the puppies to the visitors to your home lot. So, although it's not the same as the commercial set up, you can still add dogs and cats to your home business. Cass.

It's funny because one day I was thinking that what the game needed was pets and the same day I went onto EA's website and saw that TS2 Pets was coming out! :shocked: (This was before Pets actually came out, by the way.) What can I say, I have a gift for predicting what EPs are coming out next...
