Pictures i tried to post a picture of my new non cheat house ( my only one) but when it came up it didnt show the picture it just said where it came from like ea games/ sims2/storytelling/ blah blah blah what did i do wrong
um ... I just tried it by pasting the url of an image from one of my own albums: http://thesims2.ea.com/sims2_exchange/story/46/5846/snapshot_ae9a6522_8e9a5c77.jpg into an image code and it worked ... so I dunno what you did wrong. Why not save the pic you want us to see onto your desktop and then use the 'manage attachments' function to upload the picture to the exchange. Hot linking to stuff on an another website is always cranky as well as being a little impolite ...
Manage attachments I wanted to post a pciture so i went New thread manage attachments browse i clicked on the one i wanted i clicked upload Now what do i do I clicked on the uploaded file but it didnt go onto my thread, what do i do??? :dead:
Why would you need a new thread? Please do not start new threads to reply to continuing issues in another thread. Use the Post Reply button. As for your problem ... I can only guess that you did something wrong. It really is quite simple, I suggest that you try again. Don't forget that if it goes wrong you can edit your post rather than keep starting new messages and new threads which only confuses the other users. Note also that the edit interface allows you to manage attachments as well. I just looked at your first attempt to post a picture. The image source code was a file on your computer. We would all have to be pretty nifty hackers if we were gonna be able to see that. Uploading files to the WorldSims server is pretty straightforward ... jsut take your time to make sure that the file is actually uploaded before continuing. Hope you succeed soon.
i cant do it i tried posting my picture again ( for the 6th time) once it was uploaded i double clicked it hoping to go into my message box thingy but instead it took me to a sperate window and showed the picture i tried to cut and paste but that didnt work aranoid:
I cannot imagine what you are doing, Kato. double clicking and 'message box thingys' don't relate to any part of my experience of uploading pics to this message board. You are trying to post a pic here, aren't you?

this is funny: i went on to my other forum ( miz sims 2 go go, they recommended you) and i asked them the same question but i managed to get my pictures up, ???
