    Please help!

    Hi,

I've had the Sims, deluxe edition, since christmas. I'm not doing too bad, but now i'm a bit stuck. One of my sims has been promoted and now needs 7 friends, but there are only 5 other sims available to make friends with. Do i have to create more families, and if so, do i have to look after this family too? also, i have 10000 simolians and have extended the house as far as possible, . What is the next option? Can i sell this house and move to another? Please help.

    Thanks in anticipation,

    E.

    Hi and welcome E :D

First, YES, if your sim needs a certain number of friends, you'll have to make them as other sim families living in the same neighborhood with your sim you want to get the promotion. I like to make a couple of big families with the maximum number of sims just to make sure there are enough people to make friends with for promotion! ;)

Second, yes, you can sell your house and move to another, when you are starting up the game (or any other time you're in the neighborhood screen) just click on the BULLDOZER icon and then click on your family house, it will ask if you want to EVICT your family. Choose YES to move them out, and all their money will move with them. You can buldoze their house if you want an empty lot there, or you can leave the house there in case you might want to move in another sim family without having to rebuild the whole house. :D

I agree with Fae. That is what you have to do. You don't have to exactly play with the newly created families unless you want to. You do need to have a minimum of 17 friends to reach the top career in some of the career tracks, so that you know how many you will need in the future. :classic:
