Problems with University Hi all. The Sims 2 is 1 of the best games i've ever played. Unfortunately also 1 with the most bugs. Where to start? Kidnapped babies by Visitors? Nasty Nannies? Sims(Delivery Service appearing and disappearing out of nowhere? Immortal Sims?(1 of the Sims,BJ refused to get older. Once he was an elder and if left the game and reentered it he became from an elder an adult again.) What happened with University is the following: Even i have upgraded the base game to version and installed the Expnasion without any problems,once loaded i noticed that 4 out of 6 occupied lots disappeared in my custom neighborhood. I created 2 Families and wanted them to spread and make kids with each other in the custom neighborhood im playing. The family i created and is now splitted in2 lots (kids moved out) is still there. However the other 4 occupied lots with sims imported from pleasantview disappeared. I wanted both my families to have an easy life so i imported some occupied lots with rich sims in them from pleasantview to my custom neighborhood. Because the lost sometimes had 8 sims i killed 7 of them and kept only 1 alive,so my families could become friends with him and finally move in and get all the money. Because i also wanted money for the future generations i move 4 lots all together in the custom neighborhood. All the 4 lots were the same,Federal Fortress from Pleasantview. Actually there are 5 federal fortresses in my neighborhood but only the 1st 1 stayed untouched where i moved the 2 families in. The rest,while playing for more than week and while making the house owners move some friends in,disappeared. But while playing my neighborhood i noticed that the sims who disappeared became npc's now,non controlable walking outside the lots. I managed to use a new imported sim from pleasantview to make 1 of the disappeared sims his best friend and actually move the rest of the sims in the lost again with all their money. It didnt work the 2nd time though since when im trying to actually use the propose to move in function,the icon disappears short after. Because i saved all my sims before installing university,i can import them again in my custom neighborhood but i dont want them to exist twice because they are also walking outside the lots. So i decided to "get rid" of all the clones before i move them in again by using the move object function and putting them to the pool with no ladders . Thats the 1st bug i experienced playing university. Donno if any other 1 has experienced something similar? In a new thread i will post the 2nd and most disturbing bug i found.
