Promoting manager I purchased Le Magnifique Restaurant and hired several employees one of which is a Sim i purposely brought up all skill levels with the intention of making him a manager.After all that work it only gives me the option to promote to manager one of my employees and it is not my skilled Sim! Why is this?
Skill levels or business badges? Potential managers have to have at least 5 points worth of badges (bronze=1, silver=2 etc.) Since managers don't actually do much except <ahem> manage you may be better off appointing the lesser qualified employee so that the more skilled sim can continue to do something useful and profitable. Sometimes The Sims is soo realistic ... I like that
