Cofffeeeeee!!! Need some now. Just checking in to see if anyone read my story.

I drink tea in the afternoons, proper and not. English Breakfast is my fave.

Guess I should call it English afternoon.

Why do we have different words for glass and cup? There's also mug and goblet. Why is that?

It was either that, or go hang out with the farm animals or declare war on a neighboring kingdom. What did you expect the kings of English to do!? Hop on the internet and ask random questions on a game board? :p

What era and contry would you rather have been born in?

1940's/50's, USA. Is that ten years after Grease is set? Because that way I'd be a teenager and get to go to dances and stuff.

WHY didn't I get Miss Adelaide????

They were too imtinidated by your awesomeness.

Shouldn't it be ten+ years before Grease took place?

    Not if you're really precocious.

    Look at that infant dance!

Why can't I just stay home and eat bon-bons all day?

Because if they were strawberry, I'd have to join you, and then I'd fail my GCSE's, and then I wouldn't be able to take over the world, and the repurcussions would be catstrophic. Not just for me - for all mankind too.

Why does God price red shorts that I really like at 14 which are almost certainly too much so I now regret buying them?

Lessons in delayed gratification mean absolutely nothing and neither does this answer to your question so I will ask a different one...

What is Clark Kent's middle initial?

S, for Superman. Clark "Superman" Kent. He's not very good at this hidden identity thing, as evidenced by his really lame disguise. A pair of glasses? Sheesh.

I saw an episode of Clark and Lois once that asked a question I've always wondered about "How stupid was she (Lois)?"

(glasses on) I'm Clark Kent! (glasses off) No, I'm Superman!

    :p

    What's the worst movie ever?

You got a max of 77F in May! We'd call that a heatwave if we got it in August :p

Oh yeah, the answer is no  Best not to ever finish, cos then there's a hope that the last box will contain something really useful, valuable, or long-lost ... preferably all three; I live on hope, but a seasoning of pessimism keeps the piquancy alive in hopes that have long expired best before dates.

    Optimist or pessimist?

    An incorrigible, incurable optimist. :D

Is a pint of brew ever half empty? :p

    I always ...

    ... but ...

    ... hang on a sec ...

OK I decided on an answer. No cos that would be defying the laws of fizzix ;)

Would the answer still matter after drinking several pints?

Only if the barmaid has gone on home for the night.

Am I the only one around here who is always late for work? (As I am now! Bye!)

I took a "fifteen minute nap" yesterday and ended up getting to work at 10:30. Does that count?

Fortunately, I'm part time, and flex time, so no one cared. I got a little teasing, though.

My sister's getting married July 29 and I'm in the wedding. All of the other bridesmaids are twelve feet tall and weigh 3 pounds apiece. I'll be the short dumpy one on the end. Even if I were at my skinniest, which I'm not, I'd still look like the short dumpy one, and I'm 5' 7"! Sigh.

Still, gotta give it the old college try or I'll regret those photos forever.

How will I make my goal of losing 15 pounds by then?

I've heard that walking up hill both ways will do it. :p Hasn't worked for me yet since I can't find a hill that goes up both ways.

5'7" !! Wow, you're tall! I'm 5'0" and way too short for the kitchen cabinets.

What's the average height for American women in the 21st century?

You forgot barefoot, and in the snow.

But to answer your question, shorter than the average giraffe.

(C'mon, you didn't expect a serious answer, did you?)

Have you ever wished on a star, and had it come true?

Not yet but it hasn't stopped me from wishing.

    How big are the stars?
