Recoloring Objects how do i recolor objects? like maybe i want to make a couch a different color, or a new bed sheet, how do i do that?
Maxis has not yet put out a tool for this. However, both SimPE and Datgen have ways of doing it. SimPE can be found here: SimPE site The support for how to use it is found on ModTheSims2. It's a very good idea to make sure that you know as much about the programs as possible before installing them. They are not for the beginning computer art maker. (Since I have no clue as to how much experience you have, I've added this proviso. Don't expect it to be as easy as BodyShop or HomeCrafter.) You will also need a raster graphic program of some sort. (Raster graphics are the paint programs one usually sees like Adobe Photoshop, as opposed to the vector graphics of programs such as Adobe Illustrator or the 3D programs such as Maya and Studio Max.) wen u buy the object if u click on the object u can choose the new colour. they have limited colours though
