    Registration at the Sims site

Does the activation e-mail for registration at the Sims site send to Hotmail accounts? I tried to register using my usual e-mail address(es), but I never got any activation e-mail(s). Or is their site having problems?

I really need the stuff on the site :ermm:

Hmm. I didn't have any problems with it. And I don't have a hotmail adress registrered when I created my account.

Nina: ok; which e-mail provider did you use to register at their site? And was it an e-mail provider that had a lot of spam?

Thanks, I really need to download some stuff from there :ermm:

I'm not aware that you have to receive a confirmation address. I use a yahoo account for my sims registration.

Perhaps you didn't validate your serial number with maxis?

I don't know if you had to validate the e-mail account before, but now you do. I used to have an account there, but that was over a year ago, so can't remember the information.

Didn't validate your serial number ? What do you mean?

    P.S.
I'm testing with a Hotmail account, no success looks like.

Does anyone know any e-mail addresses to contact The Sims website webmaster/support desk etc?

    simwatch@maxis.com

But it is best to contact a SimMaster or Mayor at TheSims.com chat rooms...

By validating your serial numbers, I mean that you've product registered and that you have submitted your game serial numbers to Maxis

I had a question about the serial numbers... do I have to dig up my first game cd case or can I just use my Unleashed and not round up all the cd cases for ALL the numbers??

Well all I know is that the serial number(s) that I registered with was/were legible.

Just recieved confirmation from a Maxis representative that they are currently working on the e-mail problem at The Sims site - I'm glad I'm not the only one having this e-mail problem, then :) :D
